Striking Translucent Gem Opal On Black Pendant
P156 Now this IS an Opal On Black pendant with a difference! I recently acquired a lovely piece of 100% Natural Solid Translucent Gem Opal and simply couldn't resist using it in a different way than normal. This piece has a play of beautiful reds with some blues and greens with good effect. So, what I decided upon, was inserting a decorative surround of striking created black opal to compliment the beautiful colours of the solid translucent Gem Opal. The combined solid natural opal and created opal surround has been cut and polished into a single piece with the overall effect in appearance being very 3D-like and visually quite stunning. The back of this opal pendant is of jet black leadlight glass. We hope you like it!!
